"QUENIA LOPES my girl quenia is an emcee, hair artist and afro-brazilian activist in brazil. she runs 'ubizima' in rio, a collective that promotes the learning and understanding of the african heritage which the majority of brazilians descend from. she teaches this through hair to young females mostly. i look up to her a lot and had the pleasure of staying with her in brazil when i went last summer. she's basically just really cool.
